Tim Jr. recently drug home a '63 Impala wagon. It was sitting along a fence line since the late '70's.

Here is where we found it...friend of a friend deal. Front view on the farm On the trailer heading home.
Outside his shop, getting a good cleaning. Clifford the Rat...he came with the car. R.I.P. Floorboards are pretty good shape.
He took the fuel tank out for inspection.
Looked really good inside.
The original 327. Valve cover off, full of dirt. Front end being stripped down.
Frame rails and firewall painted. New engine and trans. Going together. The rest of the front suspension
stuff will be painted when rebuilt.
The car was together...just in time for the KKOA show '09. The proportioning valve cracked on the way to the show, and was wrecked. No pics of the damage yet, but we have some repair parts...
Spare tire cover was missing. He found this one in a local
salvage yard full of old cars.
Front fenders are being worked on. That is Dead Head Ed
(a body guy) on the right, helping with body work.

Here's the parts car. The roof was already removed and is on Joe Adcock's 34 Ford. Interior shot. Yeah, it was cold and snowing the day we
brought it home
One important piece is the tailgate glass. This one was intact,
and all the way up. We had to get into the tailgate to open
the window. It's electric!.
We hotwired the window motor and got it to move, with
a little coaxing and a bunch of WD-40.
Tailgate off. He was supposed to be taking off the bumpers...

  Not much left.
