...so here's the deal on the lounge...

In the power distribution game, many of the high voltage electrical circuits are named after the street they travel above. Some of the switchgear in the substations have signs on them so the linemen can easily find affected circuits. We once received some retired equipment from Louisiana, which had a sign that said simply "West Buford St.". I liked the sign for some unknown reason, and took it home. It now hangs on my basement wall.

My son and I were in a goofy mood one day, and started calling the basement gameroom "West Buford Street Lounge" or WBSL for short. One thing led to another, and soon, everything was named "West Buford Street (whatever)", including the "West Buford Street Garage". With all these places named, we created the umbrella organization "West Buford Street Industries". I live on Woodlawn Ave. There is no Buford Street in Salina.

My new spinner end table. Gary provided the airplane engine spinner, Mel provided the glass, the local glass company cut it. Neat-O. CURB FIND!!! and it WORKS!!!
